SHTRIH-PriceChecker is a device for informing customers about prices and other characteristics of goods at the point of decision in retail environments. With its help, clients have an opportunity to receive brief information about the goods they are interested in: their exact price, name, date of expiry, etc. Price labels may get confused, but it will not prevent customers from purchases: they will check the price in a fraction of a second. No need to kook for a shop assistant!

SHTRIH-PriceChecker is equipped with a Metrologic MS3480 Quantum E omni-directional laser scanner and VFD 2x22 alpha-numeric customer display enclosed in a rugged metal casing. It communicates with the back-office server either via Ethernet (TCP/IP) or via Wi-Fi (optional). Upon scanning a bar code, SHTRIH-PriceChecker forms a request and directs it to the server that returns a set of lines with information on the product. Text line of up to 40 characters long can be scrolled in both directions, and in stand-by mode the device can display ad messages.
